This frank discussion will cover the long timeline for project development, financing issues, construction challenges, environmental and social considerations, and various other aspects of project development.
The three expert speakers for this session, and the projects they are discussing, are:
- Andrew Watson, director of design engineering, BC Hydro, 1,100-MW Site C project in Canada
- Brent Moeller, director of generation resources, Missouri River Energy Services, 36.4-MW Red Rock project in the U.S.
- Gultekin Keles, general manager, Kalehan Energy, 500-MW Lower Kalekoy project in Turkey
