Foam Earplugs
Honeywell’s new Howard Leight FirmFit earplugs feature a softer, more comfortable fit and better noise protection than most leading classic-style foam earplugs. An advance in classic-style foam earplugs, Howard Leight FirmFit was engineered to enhance the wearing experience for people who prefer a firmer fit to “feel” their earplugs in their ears and who are accustomed to the familiar cylindrical or barrel-shaped earplug. Independent lab tests revealed the new Howard Leight FirmFit earplugs are 40 percent softer with 29 percent lower expansion pressure than most leading classic-style earplugs. FirmFit earplugs provide effective 30 NRR dB hearing protection and are easy to roll down and insert with plenty of time to adjust for a proper fit. The earplugs are bright orange for high visibility and are available in corded and uncorded versions. A complimentary Ear-To-Ear Challenge kit is available at www.howardleight.com/FirmFit. Each kit contains five pairs of FirmFit earplugs. Workers are encouraged to wear FirmFit for a week and share their experiences online.

Li-ion Energy Storage Warranty Extension
Saft Li-ion Energy Storage Systems ensure the effective grid integration of solar photovoltaic (PV) at all levels from enhancing domestic self-consumption to megawatt-scale installations that support the operation of large PV generation plants as an integral element of power networks.
Saft is offering a warranty extension of up to 15 years for Synerion Storage Systems integrated into Bosch’s BPT-S 5 Hybrid intelligent energy management and storage solution. Saft’s domestic-scale ESS solutions are based on its Synerion Li-ion battery modules, each of which delivers some 2 kWh of energy and up to 4 kW of power. The technologically mature, fully commercialized Bosch BPT-S 5 Hybrid system, launched in 2012, integrates a solar inverter, an energy management system and Saft’s Synerion modules. It is fully certified and safety tested, and Bosch has hundreds of installers trained in the installation of the units.

GPS Helix Antenna
Ethertronics’ EtherHelix GPS is the world’s smallest stand-alone, Right Hand Circularly Polarized (RHCP) external GPS antenna. Measuring 35mm, the EtherHelix GPS is 27 percent shorter in length than other antennas with no performance trade-offs. It is ideal for walkie-talkies, tough books, tough tablets, first responders, public safety, military applications and more. EtherHelix can be tuned for various satcom frequencies and various polarizations (RHCP or LHCP). EtherHelix GPS is designed using Ethertronics’ patented Isolated Magnetic Dipole (IMD) technology, which provides high performance and efficiency in a small form factor. EtherHelix GPS has a high tolerance to frequency shifts given the technology’s high RF isolation, which is designed to resist antenna de-tuning that can otherwise impair reception. EtherHelix GPS provides exceptional coverage inside buildings, vehicles and other areas where weak signals and signal reflection occur. The RoHS Compliant antenna is designed and manufactured in the U.S.
