HydroVision Brasil 2013 Projects of the Year nominations open

The editors of Hydro Review and HRW-Hydro Review Worldwide are now accepting nominations for their “Projects of the Year” awards program, which will be awarded during HydroVision Brasil’s closing luncheon.

Projects must have been completed by May 1, 2013, and will be evaluated on a number of criteria, including their vision, scope, practicality, ingenuity and innovation, and benefits to the project owner/developer, customers, and power industry as a whole.

Nominations can be submitted in one or more of the seven awards categories, which include:

  • Dam or Civil Works Construction or Rehabilitation
  • Environmental Sustainability
  • New (Greenfield) Development (10-100 MW)
  • New (Greenfield) Development (101-20,000 MW)
  • Project Financial Closing
  • Project Refurbishment/Modernization
  • Small Hydro (less than 10 MW)

Projects from around the world are eligible for consideration, but nominations must be submitted by Aug. 19, 2013.
