Hydroelectric plants make up half of the eight largest Colombian energy projects by capex

The country of Colombia has more than 760 energy projects under development, according to BNamericas’ database. Of the eight largest on file by capital expenditure, half are hydroelectric plants. These projects are expected to require combined investments of US$21 billion.
