Ethiopia seeks construction contract manager for 280-MW Chemoga-Yeda

Ethiopian Electric Power Corp. (EEPCO) seeks bids for construction contract management for the 280-MW Chemoga-Yeda hydroelectric project in Ethiopia. Bids are due December 1.

EEPCO seeks a consultant to manage the engineering-procurement-construction contract for Chemoga-Yeda stages 1 and 2. The consultant is to carry out engineering services through the entire contract period acting as the employer’s representative.

Work is to include preparation of dam break analyses and an emergency preparedness plan. The consultant also is to review civil, electro-mechanical, and hydro-mechanical designs and other related works.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below for 500 birr (US$52). Bids are due by noon December 1.
