Consultants sought to identify water resources projects in Uganda, Kenya

The Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) invites expressions of interest from consultants to identify water resources projects, including hydropower, in three river basins in Uganda and Kenya. Responses to three solicitations are due April 2 and 9.

NELSAP previously announced plans to implement Transboundary Integrated Water Resources Management and Development projects in the Sio-Malaba-Malakisi Basin of Kenya and Uganda, the Mara River Basin of Kenya and Tanzania, and the Kagera River Basin of Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.
