Cambridge, Mass., Sept. 10, 2002 — RealityWave Inc., developer of the technology platform integrating Industrial Data for enterprise collaboration, recently announced the addition of Rob Glasier as Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
Rob will use his proven leadership in the plant, power, and process market, combined with his extensive background in Discreet Manufacturing, GIS, and PLM, to help RealityWave expand their solution’s competitive advantage across these industries.
RealityWave’s VizStream Enterprise Platform enables companies to develop or enhance applications with the ability to access and visualize Industrial Data like 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and P&ID’s.
Unlike traditional viewers, VizStream is an open-architected platform designed to allow companies to enhance already implemented applications, or create a new application. Rob will be streamlining RealityWave’s marketing and sales activities to best reach a market demanding these solutions.

Rob has previously served in Vice President roles at Intergraph, ASD Global, and Rolta International. He directed Intergraph’s Process and Building Solutions (PBS) Product Center, where he had responsibility for all of Intergraph’s plant design, architectural and structural engineering products, including the Plant Design System (PDS), the industry’s leading plant design suite of products.
He oversaw the merger of Intergraph’s Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Product Center into his PBS organization, and headed up the planning for, and the naming of, Intergraph’s current SmartPlant product strategy, and he also initiated Intergraph’s thrust into Integrated Plant Life Cycle Management.
He also ran Intergraph’s Information Management, Shipbuilding, and Mechanical product centers at various times. Prior to Intergraph, he was the Product Manager for the Unigraphics suite of products in the mechanical marketplace.
