POWER-GEN International elevates the event buying experience

POWER-GEN International, part of the newly formed Power & Energy Series from Clarion Energy, has introduced a new Key Buyer Program for its upcoming December 4-6, 2018, event in Orlando, Florida.

This program will deliver a personalized experience for decision makers from electric power generating companies (including utilities and IPPs) and EPC companies that are actively sourcing new products and services. This qualified group of buyers will have access to an innovative matchmaking software and a personal Program Manager who will assist them with securing pre-arranged one-to-one meetings with exhibiting companies based on mutually matched interests.

“Built with customer input, the Key Buyer Program delivers ROI and ensures the right connections are being made at POWER-GEN International,” commented Clarion Energy Senior Vice President MaryBeth DeWitt. “With over 800 exhibiting companies and 15,000 individual attendees, we can’t rely on having them find each other by chance. This program introduces buyers to new vendors, matching them based on their sourcing interests and helping them make the most of their time.”

The opportunity to be matched will be open to all POWER-GEN International exhibitors who complete their matchmaking profile. The decision to accept the match and schedule a meeting is then up to the Key Buyer to decide. In exchange for participating in the program, Key Buyers will receive an attending package with discounted travel and reduced attending expenses, along with a plethora of onsite amenities. The Program Manager, liaising with Key Buyers, is the latest new hire to Clarion Energy: Liz Kenny. Kenny, who’s well versed in developing and managing customer relationships, joined the team this month, coming over from Reed Exhibitions. “This program is just one of many you’ll see rolled out over the next few months in the Power & Energy Series from Clarion Events. We are committed to elevating the experience of our attendee and exhibiting communities and in turn are making a significant investment in our buyer programs,” said DeWitt.

Qualifying press members also are encouraged to attend POWER-GEN International at no charge to connect with not only key buyers and exhibiting companies, but also with speakers, committee members and other attendees. Interested press should email [email protected] or call +1-918-831-9160 (direct) or +1-888-299-8016 (toll free) to learn details on obtaining a free press pass to the event.
