
Enduring Hydro LLC has hired Juan Kimble, P.E., as managing director of hydropower and Irwin Studen as managing director and chief financial officer.
Kimble will be responsible for the asset management of the company’s hydropower plants to ensure optimal energy production and operation.
Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of Safe Harbor Water Power Corporation. Before that, Kimble was director of asset operations for the combustion turbine technology group at Constellation Energy. He has more than 25 years of experience in power generation.
Studen will be responsible for Enduring Hydro’s financial management and economic strategy.
He previously was interim CFO at VendTek Systems Inc. and, before that, senior vice president and CFO at GetWellNetwork. He also was senior VP and CFO for SXC Health Solutions and a mergers and acquisitions consultant for GTCR LLC.
Enduring Hydro invests in, develops and modernizes hydroelectric facilities in the U.S. and is committed to contributing to a better environment through the building and upgrading of responsible hydropower.
The 6-MW Mahoning Creek Hydroelectric Project is an example of a project developed by the company.
Kristina Johnson, chief executive officer of Enduring Hydro, was recognized in July 2014 as a winner of the inaugural Women with Hydro Vision award, presented by PennWell’s Hydro Group.
