Get needed hands-on training for hydropower at HYDROVISION International

Based on industry feedback gathered at HYDROVISION International in 2023, we are offering Hydro Hands-On (H2O) training courses at the 2024 event.

These hands-on training sessions provide in-depth technical expertise on a particular subject of interest to the hydroelectric power industry. Unlike typical classroom lectures, these courses allow attendees to work directly with equipment, technologies and industry experts. The courses will bridge the gap between theory and practice using real-world applications, allowing attendees to apply the latest advancements in technology, safety protocols, etc.

HYDROVISION is partnering with host utility Denver Water and the U.S. Department of Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation to offer several courses at facilities near the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

Several potential course topics are being discussed. Click here to share your proposal for a topic that needs a hands-on approach. Final topics and instructors selected will be announced in early 2024.

HYDROVISION International takes place July 15 to 18 in Denver, Colo., U.S. Click here to learn more, including plans for the event to date.

This annual event for the global hydroelectric power industry drew attendees from 50 countries in 2023.
