Ethiopia seeks electrical equipment for 5-MW Sor

Ethiopian Electric Power Corp. (EEPCo) seeks bids for protection and excitation equipment to refurbish the 5-MW Sor hydroelectric project. Bids are due May 26.

EEPCo seeks design, supply, installation, and commissioning of protection and excitation systems for Units 1 and 2 by modern digital sets. It also seeks supply of 66-kilovolt, 15-kV, and 3-kV station circuit breakers by modern SF6 and vacuum circuit breakers. The utility also seeks spare parts and interfacing of the new system with the existing system.

Bid documents in English may be obtained from the address below for 200 birr (US$18) in cash. Bids are due by 10 a.m. May 26.
