Diversion structure awarded for Italy’s 13.3-MW Passirio

EnerPass SpA has awarded a 23.7 million euro (US$30.2 million) contract for construction of a diversion structure for the 13.3-MW Passirio hydroelectric project in Italy.

Italian contractor Seli SpA is to construct a diversion structure with penstocks, surge tank, and valve chamber at the site near the Austrian border. (HNN 6/12/06)

Seli was sole bidder for the work, on the Passirio River at San Martin in Passiria, Italy.
