VICKSBURG, Miss., U.S. 11/22/11 (PennWell) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks bids from small businesses to provide geotechnical monitoring and technical support services to its Engineer Research and Development Center in Vicksburg. Bids are due Dec. 14.
The Corps’ Vicksburg District recruited firms in 2010 to provide dam break flood mapping services for more than 600 dams.
In the current solicitation, the Vicksburg-based ERDC seeks monitoring and testing support services for its Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory. A small business is to work as needed under a single indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with a five-year ordering period and a minimum guarantee of $10,000.
