Developers of China’s 88-MW Cuijiaying Navigation and Power Complex Project seek bids by September 5 for four packages of metal structure work for the project on the Han River in Hubei Province.
Cuijiaying is part of the Fifth Inland Waterways project, which received World Bank approval last year for a US$100 million loan. Objectives of the waterways project include providing cost-effective transport capacity for waterway users on the Han River as well as sustainable hydropower and water resources in the region.
On behalf of Hubei Provincial Cuijiaying Navigation and Power Complex Management Department, China International Tendering Co. (CITC) invites bids under World Bank procedures for four packages:
o Package 1: G2 Water release gate metal structure;
o Package 2: G6 Hydraulic headstock gears for working gates and water release gate;
o Package 3: G12 Metal structure and equipment of powerhouse;
o Package 4: G13 Shiplock metal structure.
Bidding documents, in English or Chinese, may be obtained from the CITC address below upon written application and payment of 1,000 renminbi or US$125. Bids are due to the second address below by 10 a.m. September 5.
