Registration is now open for the HydroVision Russia conference and exhibition in Moscow, with early registration at a discounted rate available before Feb. 25, 2011.
HydroVision Russia is planned for March 28-30, 2011, at Moscow’s Expocentr. The conference and exhibition is co-located with Russia Power, which attracts 5,000 attendees and 140 exhibitors.
HydroVision Russia is the hydroelectric power industry’s premier event for addressing the challenges, issues and advancements associated with hydro energy production, maintenance and technology in Russia. Endorsed by RusHydro and NP Hydropower, HydroVision Russia’s 3-day exhibition and conference showcases the changing future of the Russian energy mix and highlights the great potential of this prevalent energy source.
HydroVision Russia and Russia Power are owned and produced by PennWell.
Evgeny Dod, chairman of the management board of RusHydro OJSC, said: “A high level event of this nature in Russia is a significant occurrence in itself. 39 papers from speakers from 16 countries (Austria, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Mexico, Nepal, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and USA); 9 sessions covering the topics of: dams and reservoirs, equipment diagnostics, generators, innovations, maintenance, operations, project planning and development, pumped storage, refurbishment and upgrades, reliability, small hydro, turbines.
The exhibition features 26 companies from Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Russia, Switzerland and the United States.
