Damali Harding elected to Board of Directors of the AABE

Damali Rhett Harding, a business development director for Oracle Utilities|Opower, has been elected as Assistant Treasurer for the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE).

AABE is the leading organization for African Americans to provide direct input into energy policies, regulations, emerging technologies and environmental issues. AABE consults with energy companies, associations and non-profits to ensure that energy access remains equitable for all.

Harding is an expert in the field of renewable energy and electric utilities. At Oracle Utilities|Opower, she advises utilities on behavioral load shaping, customer engagement strategies and demand response management.

Previously, Harding has provided strategic advising to utilities such as Duke Energy and National Grid. She also serves on the board of directors of The Energy Co-op, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit member-owned cooperative, where she was previously Executive Director.
