Clarion Cares is proud to announce that we will be donating to the Hawaii Wildlife Relief fund by Global Giving.
We’ve collected donations from DTECH, POWERGEN, and FDIC totaling $5,000, Clarion North America will match that, contributing a $10,000 total donation on behalf of Clarion Cares to the fund. We know that many of you have asked how the company could provide support for those affected by this tragedy, and we are grateful to have been able to answer with this donation.
Clarion Cares was formed for reasons like this so that when we are able (as units or as our entire business) to support the industries and communities we do business in. It is our aim at Clarion Events and DISTRIBUTECH International to support the electric utility industry and to empower our readers and attendees to step up as well.
For those attending DISTRIBUTECH International, taking place in Orlando, Florida from Feb. 26 – 29: If you provide proof of a donation to Global Giving at the Kraken Technologies Booth #1809, you’ll receive a Kraken plushie, while supplies last.
Last year, with the launch of Clarion Cares, we donated $10,000 to Energize Ukraine, and called on DISTRIBUTECH attendees to contribute critical grid components to help Ukraine rebuild amid the Russian invasion that continues to ravage the country’s critical infrastructure.
Energize Ukraine is a global initiative to immediately help the Ukrainian people rebuild their energy infrastructure which has been destroyed by Russia’s missile attacks that have damaged over 40% of Ukraine’s infrastructure.
