UK Energy Company Renews Itself

August 19, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] UK-based B9 Energy Biomass is rebranding itself with immediate effect following a substantial investment in its future. From now on, the company will be known and marketed under the new name, Exus Energy Limited, although it will remain associated with the B9 Energy group. The company has also secured significant new funding to further develop and market its combined heat and power (CHP) technology. Investment by its owners has been supplemented by assistance from The Carbon Trust, Invest Northern Ireland and The Emerging Business Trust; the company regards this injection – of around three quarters of a million pounds in total (US$1.2 million) – as a major vote of confidence in its product’s future. Exus Energy will continue to produce and refine wood-fuelled CHP units, at home and abroad, for significant energy consumers.
