Training Workshop Opportunity for Renewable Energy Practitioners from Developing Countries

Applications are being accepted for the annual rural electrification training workshop organized by the International Center on Small Hydro Power (ICSHP) and The National Research Institute for Rural Electrification (NRIRE).

 

The International Training Workshop on Rural Electrification will be held in Hangzhou, China from 27 Oct. – 10 Nov. 2016.

 

The training workshop aims to equip trainees with the technical know-how in rural electrification development for small hydropower, solar energy and wind power technologies. Furthermore, to improve their own capabilities to undertake rural electrification programs in their respective countries.

 

Financial support is provided by China’s Ministry of Science and Technology for training fees, food, accommodation and in-country transportation. Travel costs between country of origin and Hangzhou will be borne by participants.

 

Qualified renewable energy practitioners from developing countries are encouraged to apply before the 31 July deadline.
