Tennessee Flips Switch on Energy

[Tennessean.com] Gov. Phil Bredesen has announced intentions of establishing a state energy policy. While there are hints as to what that policy might include, it’s important to at least celebrate the fact there will be one. The federal government has been woefully disappointing on energy, especially with years of banking so much of the policy on the oil industry. The nation has relied far too much on foreign oil, and it has been too slow to address the effects of greenhouse gases.
