South Dakota PUC to Push Legislature on RE Credit Tracking

[ AP via Aberdeen News ] South Dakota needs to join a regional tracking system that will supervise the trading of credits for electricity generated by wind and other renewable energy sources, members of the state Public Utilities Commission said Monday. After a meeting with officials of utility companies, the three PUC members said they will ask the state Legislature to approve a measure that would allow the commission to take part in such a tracking system.
