Sine Wave Inverter for Small Mobile Applications

Magnum Energy, an inverter/charger manufacturer for the RV/Marine industries, announced the availability of a new pure sine wave inverter for customers with smaller power needs in mobile applications. The new MMS 1012 has a continuous output of 1000 watts with a 50-amp charger. The Power Factor Corrected (PFC) Charger uses less energy from a generator than standard chargers-using only 7.5 amps per 50 amps versus 12.5 amps used by standard chargers. The MMS is backed by 24-month parts and labor warranty and is ETL listed to the stringent requirements of UL/cUL458 and CSA C22.2#107.1. Magnum’s new inverter/chargers come standard with 20amp transfer relay. The MMS is fan cooled, enabling the unit to work well in confined spaces. If the inverter does exceed its temperature limits, it will automatically shut down and then restart when it cools down. The unit’s small footprint (16.6L X 8.4W X 4.7) allows for easier installation in smaller spaces.
