Reports on Western Renewable Energy Posted for Comment

[] The first round of reports from eight task forces (advanced natural gas, biomass, clean coal, energy efficiency, geothermal, solar, transmission and wind), developed by the Western Governors’ Association as part of its Clean and Diversified Energy Initiative, are available for comment by the public. The reports examine how to develop 30,000 MW of clean energy in the West by 2015, ensure adequate transmission and increase energy efficiency 20 percent by 2020. The final reports will be reviewed and form a comprehensive set of recommendations for the governors to consider in June 2006.
