Renewable Energy Agreement among Session’s Highlights

[The Coloradoan] The 2007 Legislature finished work one week early Friday, leaving in its wake many legislative winners and some losers for Northern Colorado. Renewable energy enjoyed a bipartisan boost with the Democratic- controlled House and Senate passing more than a half-dozen bills aimed at pushing the state toward becoming an economic hub for renewable energy. A collaborative agreement signed among Colorado State University, the Colorado School of Mines, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and the University of Colorado combined the research power of the competing institutions to bring more federal and private renewable energy dollars to Colorado.
