Raser Secures Option to Develop Geothermal Properties in California

Provo, Utah [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Raser Technologies, Inc. announced that it has entered into an option agreement to develop geothermal resources in Southern California for the production of clean, renewable electric power. Raser’s decision to exercise its option is predicated upon finalizing its geological studies. Should Raser exercise its option, Raser will have full control of the development and operation of the power plant. In exchange for these and other rights, Raser will pay to the geothermal resource owner profit sharing payments based on a sliding scale for up to 300 megawatts of capacity.
