Raser Awarded Additional Permit for Drilling in Nevada

Raser Technologies, Inc. announced that it has been awarded an additional project area permit by the State of Nevada for the purpose of developing geothermal well fields on certain of its geothermal lease properties in that state. The permit extends for two years and allows for the drilling of production and re-injection wells on the site.

“The awarding of this permit is an important step in the development of our geothermal resources in Nevada,” said Raser CEO Brent M. Cook. “We believe this permit will allow Raser to drill wells sufficient in number to supply hot geothermal water to drive up to two 10 megawatt binary cycle power plants.”
