Plant is First Ethanol Facility in Michigan

October 30, 2002 [SolarAccess] Michigan Ethanol, LLC is the first ethanol plant to operate in the state of Michigan. Located outside of Caro, Michigan, will process nearly 16 million bushels of corn per year into 40 million gallons of ethanol and 120,000 tons of distillers dry grains. This offers a new marketing alternative for area corn growers and the ethanol is a proven source of Renewable Energy.
