Partnership to Build Biomass-to-Ethanol Plant

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] California-based MEMS USA has formed a second joint venture to engineer, design, procure, build, own, operate and maintain a synthetic biomass-to-ethanol processing plant in Canada. This joint venture is with Central Pacific Power, Inc. The preliminary budget for this plant is USD$150 million with a projected production capacity of approximately 160,000 gallons of ethanol per day. MEMS USA and Central Pacific Power are joint 50/50 owners of Can-Am Ethanol Two, Inc., a Canadian corporation.
