Ocean Energy Converter Delayed

April 3, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] The Danish wave energy converter Wave Dragon was under deployment when strong winds during caused damage to the fender system between the wave reflectors and the main platform. Project engineers are not yet sure of the extent of the damage, but the unit remains afloat demonstrating good survivability even under these extreme conditions. The deployment will continue when Wave Dragon has been repaired.
