Norwegian Hydro Plant Gets New Turbines

March 4, 2003 [] GE Hydro has supplied a new hydro turbine and additional equipment to Tysseland Kraftlag AS, a consortium of local Norwegian landowners, for a new hydroelectric plant that recently entered service in Tysseland Kraftverk, Norway. Under a US$1.4 million contract, GE Hydro supplied a complete water-to-wire, electro-mechanical package, engineered by the GE Hydro team in Kjeller, Norway.
