NH Gov. Lynch Backs 25 x 25 U.S. Energy Plan

Laconia, New Hampshire [Associated Press] Gov. John Lynch is calling on New Hampshire to set a goal of getting 25 percent of its energy from clean, renewable sources by 2025. … Lynch endorsed a national effort in which governors and business leaders are calling for a similar goal nationally. … He said 14 percent of New Hampshire’s power already is from renewable energy. The governor said wood-fired plants are a natural choice for New Hampshire, but the state also must look at solar, wind and hydro energy.
