New Funds for Tidal Power Units

June 16, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] AquaEnergy Group, based in Mercer Island, WA receieved a Grant from the Danish Energy Authority of US$100,000 to be used to further development of offshore ocean wave energy conversion devices – AquaBuOYs. According to the company’s CEO Alla Weinstein, clusters of AquaBuOYs combined into an offshore power plant can be deployed at ocean sites around the world with suitable wave conditions.
