Montana Governor Sets Goal for Ethanol Bill

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Montana’s Governor Brian Schweitzer helped celebrate the opening of a new E85 fueling facility at 1330 North Montana Avenue in Helena. The Junction Ethanol Card Shop held a Grand Opening event and will sold E85 for 85 cents per gallon for most of the day. During the event, Governor Schweitzer said that one of his goals as Governor would be the passage of an ethanol bill. He said that while grain production has been a staple of Montana’s agricultural economy for more than a century, their grain producers give away one third of each year’s production in transportation costs because they don’t create a value-added product like Ethanol.
