Miramar to Sell Canadian Hydropower Plant

September 23, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Canadian gold mining company, Miramar Con Mine Ltd. of North Vancouver B.C., has entered into an agreement to sell its Bluefish hydropower plant to the Northwest Territories Power Corporation. Bluefish is a 7.0 mega Volt-Ampere hydroelectric power generating facility, located 25 miles northwest of Yellowknife, which supplies power for use by the Con Mine.
