Kenya KenGen Signs Deal for 35 MW Geothermal plant

Nairobi, Kenya [Reuters] The Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) plans to construct a new geothermal plant that will boost generation by 35 megawatts (MW), the power producer said. KenGen said it had signed a deal with Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd to build the plant from September.
