Intersolar Europe took place this week in Munich, Germany. Many companies are introducing new photovoltaics (PV) products and balance of system (BOS) components for solar cell installation. Following are recent news releases from the tradeshow.

June 9, 2011 — Intersolar Europe took place this week in Munich, Germany. Many companies introduced new photovoltaics (PV) products and balance of system (BOS) components for solar cell installation.

The show attracts 2,280 companies from 47 countries, with the vast majority focused on solar photovoltaics. This year’s exhibition space covers 168,000 square meters, spanning 15 halls and an outdoor exhibition area.

The show attracted an estimated 75,000 international visitors. An estimated 2,500 attendees partook in the Intersolar technical conference.
