India Invites German Funding for Renewable Energy

[] India has invited German companies to invest in special economic zones being set up for manufacturing renewable energy equipment. Discussions are under way between Minister of State for Non-Conventional Energy Sources Vilas Muttemwar and Sigmar Gabriel, German Minister for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, in Berlin. He also asked that the German delegation, which will be visiting India, look at the possibilities of investing in India’s renewable energy sector.
