HyRadix and IFP to Make Hydrogen from Ethanol

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] HyRadix and IFP initiated a multi-year development program for hydrogen generation to extend the capability of HyRadix’s autothermal reforming technology to process liquid feed stocks. The initial activities will focus on the production of hydrogen from ethanol. HyRadix currently sells the Aptus hydrogen generator for industrial use in the metals treating, oils hydrogenation, and float glass industries. Deputy Director of Refining-Petrochemicals Technology Business Unit at IFP said, “We have jointly chosen to focus the initial efforts on ethanol to advance the potential for CO2 neutral electricity generation and vehicle fueling in Europe.”
