This award, which Hydro-Quebec has won for the first time, underlines the company’s excellent work in facilitating access to the St. Maurice River for local residents. As part of its project to refurbish four generating stations and develop a new hydropower site, Hydro-Quebec also contributed to a number of projects for recreation and tourism, such as the “Cite de l’energie” in Shawinigan.
