Hydro Company Changes Hands

March 26, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] New Zealand- based Meridian Energy successfully bid for Southern Hydro, a hydroelectric business in Victoria that operates ten stations with a total generating capacity of 540 MW outputting approximately 940 GWh. Southern Hydro has been sold by Alliant Energy of the United States.
