Home Power Magazine Tracks a Fast-Growing Movement, ACORE’s Bill Holmberg Reports on Biofuels

The home-based renewable energy movement has matured dramatically in recent years. Once a tiny segment of the energy mix with counterculture associations, it has become a serious player in the industry. Home Power magazine — with its hands-on editorial approach to products, systems and trends — has chronicled self-sustaining households for the past 20 years. In this week’s edition of Inside Renewable Energy, we’ll talk with Home Power CEO and Technical Editor Joe Schwartz about the magazine’s changing readership and about a new and widespread appreciation for home-based systems.

Bill Holmberg is the resident biofuels expert at the American Council On Renewable Energy. He’s also a former U.S. Marine who has dedicated much of his professional life to furthering the cause of renewable energy. In this week’s podcast, Mr. Holmberg discusses the present viability and the future marketability of biofuels in the U.S. Inside Renewable Energy offers the latest in renewable energy news from RenewableEnergyAccess.com.
