Greening Up the Holidays

‘Tis the start of the holiday season — and that means a huge rise in the number of travelers. AAA estimates that around 65 million Americans will be traveling in either their cars or on an airplane for Thanksgiving. That’s a lot of climate changing emissions.

If you can’t avoid traveling this holiday season, green tags are one great way to lower your carbon footprint. Tom Starrs, Chief Operating Officer at the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, tells us why supporting development of renewable energy through green tags is so important this time of year.
