GreenHunter Begins Trading on AMEX

GreenHunter Energy, Inc. has announced that the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) has approved the company’s application for listing of its common stock. GreenHunter Energy’s shares have begun trading on AMEX under the ticker symbol “GRH.”

GreenHunter focuses on developing renewable energy projects including one of the U.S.’s largest biodiesel refineries located in Houston, Texas, wind energy projects located in Montana, New Mexico and California and a biomass power plant located in El Centro, California.

“As we continue to expand our portfolio of renewable energy assets, GreenHunter shareholders will greatly benefit from the increased investor visibility that comes with trading on the AMEX. Our capital needs to fund our future growth will undoubtedly expand with the successful implementation of our business plan during 2008 and beyond,” said Gary Evans, chairman and CEO of GreenHunter Energy.
