Grants for Green Energy Grow

[The Daily Advertiser] An electric company in western New York got $25 million in federal loans to build an ethanol plant that made fuel for the city, and captured carbon dioxide they’ll sell to a soft drink manufacturer. A Maine tomato grower got $500,000 to fund a biomass boiler that now turns his vine and veggie scraps into energy.
