Fuel Cell System from Polar Mission Showcased

November 4, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] Sassenage, France-based Axane, a wholly owned Air Liquide subsidiary, is offering its first commercially available hydrogen fuel cell systems. The Air Liquide/Axane fuel cell launch is supported the success of French explorer Jean-Louis Etienne, who used the system to supply electricity for his polar ice cap mission last year. During the Fuel Cell Seminar in Miami, Florida, Air Liquide and Axane will be showcasing Roller Pac, the portable 2 kW, 110 volt AC electric power generator with a hydrogen fuel cell. Air Liquide and Axane offer a variety of modular energy generators with a power range of 500 watts to 10 kW.
