Foster Wheeler Contracted for Biomass Boiler

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] Foster Wheeler North America was contracted by SNC-Lavalin Power of Washington State to design and supply a 55 MW boiler for the Fibrominn poultry litter biomass project in Minnesota. The contract is valued at $18 million. The Benson plant, which is expected to come online in 2007, will burn over 700,000 tons of poultry litter and other biomass fuels per year under a long-term supply agreement with Minnesota poultry producers.
