Ethanex Energy to Meet Demands of Growing Ethanol Market

Basehor, Kansas [] Kansas’ commitment to greater access to ethanol moved ahead with a ceremonial bill signing with ethanol producers in which Ethanex Energy, Inc. pledged to move the ethanol industry into the next generation with a manufacturing process that will increase efficiency and decrease energy used in production, and will develop a large ethanol manufacturing plant in Kansas. It is expected that Ethanex Northeast Kansas plant will produce 132 million gallons of ethanol a year. Ethanex Energy anticipates breaking ground on the plant in 2008 and will begin production by the end of 2009.
