Estes Expands into Biofuels Industry

Estes Design and Manufacturing announced the addition of Brock Grain Systems to its customer list. Brock, which manufactures commercial tower grain dryers, is currently expanding its operations to meet the increase in the demand for ethanol in the biofuel industry.

Estes Design delivers product design, engineering and manufacturing of sheet metal components and assemblies to manufacturers. The company’s prodcuts cover a wide range of applications. The primary industries Estes serves include medical, appliance, HVAC and office furniture manufacturers. This agreement with Brock is one of Estes’ first business deals in the renewable energy market.

“Brock is a complement to our diverse customer base, and we are pleased to have been selected as a vendor,” said Larry McNew, Sales Manager for Estes. “We have made a conscious decision to embrace the renewable energy movement, and the parts we’re manufacturing for Brock are the first fruits of this initiative.”
