Dpt. of Homeland Security Seeks Renewable Energy

[RenewableEnergyAccess.com] One of the latest selling points for renewable energy technologies are their varied abilities to provide energy security. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, a group with obvious interests in security issues, is soliciting bids to purchase 20,000,000 kWh of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). The delivery date is July 1, 2005 and the Pricing submission is due June 21, 2005. Few specifics are available but the following link offers more information for interested companies.
