Czech Utility Considers RE

June 4, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] Czech utility Zapadodeska Energetika wants to start to build two hydroelectric power plants and is considering the construction of a small wind electric power plant. It operates four small hydro-electric power plants in western Bohemia. The firm produced over 40 GWh of electric power in 2001. ZCE purchased a total of 4,106 TWh of electric power in 2001.
